Raymond Gubbay Limited are seeking two female dancer and a cover dancer to be part of an ensemble of 6 (3 female and 3 male) with strong classical technique, to perform in the Johann Strauss Gala tour 2019/2020. The Johann Strauss Gala tour is a semi-staged show featuring orchestra, dancers and singers performing a programme of Viennese music choreographed/directed by Alexandra Worrall and conducted and presented by John Rigby. Rehearsals in London will begin on Saturday 14th December 2019 and running until Monday 23rd December. The first performance is at the Bridgewater Hall on Saturday 28th December 2019 and the tour finishes on Saturday 25th January 2020 in Dublin. We are planning to hold auditions in central London on Sunday 29th September, and would be interested to receive details of dancers fully available for the rehearsal and performance period with strong classical technique and experience in pointe work. D&D ART PRODUCTIONS will be holding the 5th edition of GRAND AUDITION for professional dancers and graduate students between 17 – 26 years of age, on Tuesday the 4th, and Wednesday the 5th of February 2020, at the Teatre-Auditori Sant Cugat, Barcelona, Spain. GRAND AUDITION was founded in 2016 by David and Daria Makhateli, directors of the D&D Art Productions. It is the first and only international ballet company audition project which helps young professional ballet dancers and graduate students to demonstrate their skills in front of several artistic directors of the world’s leading ballet companies. Participating artistic directors for 2020 will include directors of Northern Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet, Dutch National Ballet (Junior Company), Finnish National Ballet, Houston Ballet, Ural Opera Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Semperoper Ballett.
