Notices (up to 40 words) for auditions, jobs and paid employment within the dance industry should be submitted for possible inclusion in the November 2014 magazine and website postings by 5 October 2014. Listings are subject to space available and are included at the discretion of Dance Europe. If you have missed the deadline, or require an urgent posting, which is usually possible within a few hours, this can be arranged for a fee, paid by card on booking. Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School
Professional Division is seeking a Senior Level Women’s Ballet Teacher. The teacher is responsible for the consistent instruction of vocational ballet classes. The teacher must have a strong background in the Russian system of training for classical ballet and be able to teach several levels and age groups. The successful candidate will have experience as a Professional Ballet Teacher and/or as a Professional Dancer. She will thrive within a close group of experienced, hard-working and caring staff of teachers and administrators and will complement the supportive atmosphere at the RWB School. Artistic director Julio Bocca is holding an international audition for female and male dancers. Contracts are offered for the period 26 January 2015 - 31 December 2015. The audition will take place on Saturday 11 October 2014. After a full ballet class (barre/centre) a selection of candidates will be invited to stay and perform repertoire (pas de deux and contemporary). Those who make it to the final round will choose a solo from the classical repertoire (music in CD format to be provided by the applicant).
